1/21/2024 0 Comments Mega blocks reviewsThe “wheel stilts” look silly and the claw can’t really hold anything. While it isn’t as mediocre as the lander, it still isn’t great. Besides the recolored cockpit, we get a jackal shield, printed vents, neat railing parts, and a couple others. What it does have is a bunch of neat parts. It doesn’t even have any controls for the pilot. The forward-facing cockpit doesn’t make much sense in a vehicle clearly designed to fly in all three dimensions. I’m not sure what the designers were thinking when they made this, as it doesn’t look a whole lot like the real lunar module, nor can I think of any sci-fi craft that look similar. The next build is some sort of lunar lander. I should also mention that, in spite of the printed parts, the set came with no fewer than three identical sticker sheets. The dish also spins freely, which adds a bit of “trying to tune in” play value. It isn’t anything spectacular, but it does have some neat solar panel tiles and a printed control panel. The first thing to be built is the satellite dish. The orange astronaut’s legs are also pretty loose and detach quite easily. The figures aren’t that interesting and the jetpack and air tanks are hard to attach due to the fact that they both plug into the back and go over the neck. The Accessories include a jetpack, claw, drill (that looks a bit like a phaser), and a metal detector. We get three astronauts, each with a different color of space suit. $19.99 USD (I paid closer to $10 thanks to Amazon.)īloks Forum Topic (Original post: Sep 15th, 2012) However, I’ve been busy lately so this review will be short. I’ve been meaning to review this set for a while.
